BIOGRAPHY
Coach McNish took over the Fulton Baseball Program in the Summer of 2022 and enters his third season at the helm of the Falcon baseball team. He has a long history of developing high school scholar-athletes, many of whom go on to become college baseball players or successful college students. More than half of the players that have played for him have been offered the opportunity to play college baseball. The most important aspect of Coach McNish's success has been a strong emphasis on academic achievement in addition to baseball success. In his career, he's had a 17 year stretch where his teams GPA was a 3.0 or higher and being recognized by the ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association) for academic success.
In addition to being the Head Coach of the Falcons, Coach McNish serves as the Second Vice-President of the NABF (National Amateur Baseball Federation) based out of Bowie, MD. The NABF is the oldest amateur baseball organization in the country. He has also served as the tournament director for 14U, 16U, and High School Division World Series for 7 years. In 2010, he was recognized as the NABF "Man of the Year" by the NABF for his contributions to amateur baseball. In 2012, he was recognized by the NABF in receiving the Ronald E. McMinn Award of Merit.
Coach McNish has also coached for USA Baseball in the 18U National Team Trials Tournament of the Stars. While coaching with USA Baseball, Coach McNish served as an Assistant Coach and Head Coach for three years for the USA Baseball Tournament of the Stars held at the National Baseball Training Facility in Cary, North Carolina.
