Fulton took to the road Tuesday night looking to continue  its hot start this season (3-0) to take on the Harriman Blue Devils at Paper Maker Ballpark in Harriman. The Falcons have been good in the first inning at the plate, scoring runs in each of the first three games in the first inning. Last night was no different. A lead off walk by Brock Burton got things started. An errant pick off throw advanced Burton to second. After a Noah Lyons ground out to third moved burton to third, Joseph Garcia brought him home with a single and just like that the Falcons led 1-0 three batters into the game. The Falcons threatened again after a flyout to left by Maddox Myers with Garcia moving to third after a Manny McNish single but the inning ended with Trey Salyer grounding out to third. The Falcons would add on another run in the top of the second for a 2-0 lead

after two innings. Neither team scored in the third and Fulton was held at bay in the top of the fourth. Lane Taylor led off the bottom of the 4th with a walk for the Blue Devils and came around to score on back to back wild pitches by Falcon pitcher Maddox Myers after a fly out to center and a ground out to second to cut the deficit to 2-1 after 4 innings. The Falcons answered right back in the top of the fifth. McNish led off the inning with a single to right and was sacrificed to second by Salyer. Hicks reached on an error moving McNish to 3rd. Robert Ethingtpn grounded out to third moving Hicks to second with 2 outs. McNish and Hicks score on an error  by the right fielder to make the score 4-1 and the inning ended with a groundout by Burton. Myers held Harriman scoreless in the bottom of the fifthsitting them down in order with a groundout sandwiched

between two strikeouts. The Falcons would add on another run in the top of the 6th beginning with a Lyons single to center followed by Garcia reaching on an error by the left fielder in deep left putting runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Myers hit a sacrifice fly to left to score Lyons to make it 5-1. The inning ended on a groundout to first and a base running mistake by Garcia to keep the score 5-1 going into the bottom of the 6th. Harriman would not go away as they plated 2 runs in the inning to cut the lead to 5-3. Ibarra led off the inning with a single. After a strikeout, back to back doubles by Josh Hawn and Terre Lee drove in the two runs to trail only by 2 going into the seventh. Once again, Fulton responded plating another run on a double by Quezz Brown scoring Hicks from second after a fly out to left by Ethington to make the score 6-3.

Garcia came in to close the game for the Falcons, but it wouldn't be easy. After hitting the first batter he faced, he struck out the next two. Another single by Ibarra put runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs. Lane Taylor was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Garcia got Josh Hawn to fly out to deep left to end the game for a Falcons win.
Lyons continued his hot hitting going 3 for 5 at the plate, followed by McNish going 2 for 3, Burton, Garcia, Salyer, Hicks, Ethington and Brown also recorded hits for Fulton. The Falcons are 4-0 and looked to make it 5-0 as they hook it up again tomorrow with Harriman at 6:00pm at Christenberry Park.

Fulton makes it three straight as they blank Hancock County 10-0 in six innings.

The Falcons scored a run in the second and a run in the 3rd to make the score 8-0 after 3. The Indians would again have runners on second and third with no outs but after a strikeout, a double play ended the inning.
With one out in the bottom of the 6th, Burton walked and moved to 2nd on an error. The stage was then set as Lyons hit a deep fly ball to right center field that got to the wall past a diving

right fielder and Lyons motored around the bases for an inside the park homerun to walk it off for the Falcons 10-0.
